Summer
in Brittany Booking Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the rental subject to
confirmation by The Owners to the person signing the booking form (Hirer).
Reservations
and Bookings
To secure a booking the Hirer should complete a booking form available from
info@summerinbrittany.co.uk and return to the Owners with a
non-refundable deposit of £50. A booking can only be considered complete
once the Owners have received a completed booking form together with the
appropriate deposit, and the Hirer subsequently receives written
confirmation from the Owner.
Payment
To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit of £ 50 is required at the time
of booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the commencement of the
rental period. If a booking request is made within 8 weeks of the
commencement of the rental period, the full amount due will be requested
with the booking.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be notified in writing. If the Hirer wishes to cancel a
previously confirmed booking more than 8 (Eight) weeks before the
commencement of the rental period, the non refundable deposit will be
retained; All other payments will be refunded. If cancellation occurs less
than 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental period no refunds will be
possible unless the Owner is able to re-let the accommodation for the
cancelled period, any expenses incurred in doing so will be deducted. In the
event of circumstances requiring the Owner to cancel the booking, your
payment will be repaid in full, these circumstances are those which mean
non-availability of the accommodation e.g. Fire and the Owner accepts no
responsibility. We strongly recommend that you take Holiday Insurance
including Cancellation Cover!
Security
Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £ 50 is payable with the final payment. The
Owner reserves the right to deduct from this deposit the cost of any losses
/ breakages / damage which occurs during the rental period, together with
any additional cleaning charges resulting from the accommodation being
vacated in an unreasonable condition. In normal circumstances, assuming no
deductions are required, the deposit will be returned to the Hirer by cheque
within 7 days of the end of the rental period. The sum reserved by this
clause shall not limit the Hirer's liability to the Owner.
The
Accommodation
The Hirer agrees on behalf of all party members to be a considerate tenant
and take all reasonable care of the accommodation and its contents during
the rental period. The Hirer agrees to replace any breakages / losses and to
leave the mobile home and equipment in a clean and tidy condition before
departure so that it is ready for immediate occupation! If, in the opinion
of the Owner or our agents, the accommodation has been left in an
unreasonably dirty condition, a cleaning charge of £ 30.00 PER HOUR will be
payable. The maximum number of people allowed to be accommodated in the
mobile home is 6 (SIX) including children (unless previously agreed by Owner
in writing). If this clause is not abided by, the site manager may refuse
any unknown people (People that are not on the booking form!) from entering
the site.
Any
variation from the inventory should be reported to the Owner's
representative on the first day of the rental period.
The
Campsite
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that the campsite facilities /
services described in our information is accurate, it should be understood
that the implementation or withdrawal of any such facility / service is
entirely at the discretion of the campsite Management and is therefore
outside the Owners control. Please note that in Low Season, the use of some
facilities may be restricted! Similarly, the Owner would be unable to accept
responsibility for any other event outside there control which may affect
the quality of the Hirer's holiday.
The
Hirer agrees on behalf of all party members to abide by the prevailing rules
and regulations of the campsite. If as a result of a failure to observe the
site regulations, or in the opinion of the campsite Management, a party
member behaves in an unsuitable or improper manner and is subsequently asked
to leave, the Owners are unable to accept any liability or offer any refund.
Smoking
Policy
In the interest of safety, and the comfort and enjoyment of Owner and
Hirer's, the Owner would ask that all party members refrain from smoking
inside the mobile home.
The
Owners Liability
The Owner shall not be liable to the Hirer: for any temporary defect or
stoppage in the supply of public services to the mobile home, not in respect
of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the campsite, for any
loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions,
riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owner.
Under no circumstances shall the Owners liability to the Hirer exceed the
amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.
